The History of the Company
The Moment of Clarity (2024)
Julian Bohn sat in the conference rooms of the traditional IT consulting world and noticed a recurring pattern: millions invested in “digital transformation” that went to waste because the projects either missed the mark technically or made no economic sense. The actual users? More frustrated than ever.
He realized: The world doesn't need yet more consulting firms that just sell hours. The world needs digital architectswho speak the language of three worlds at once: that of technology, that of economy and that of people.
Build-up (2025)
In 2025, he set out on his own. While the market continued to sell hours instead of solutions, Julian was already pursuing a different approach: Holistic approach. Every solution had to answer these questions in the affirmative:
- Does it make economic sense?
- Is it technically feasible?
- Is it feasible for the team as a whole?
By the end of 2025, it was clear: this trifecta of technical excellence, entrepreneurial vision, and genuine collaboration was working so well that Julian needed reinforcements. The first employees came on board as Co-creator of a holistic approach to IT consulting."
Bohn Consultancy becomes Norentec (2026)
What began in 2025 with Julian Bohn and “Bohn Consultancy GmbH” has since grown into a full-fledged team that works together to bring ideas to life, overcome challenges, and create value. As we’ve grown, it became clear that our name needed to reflect this evolution: from a single individual to a strong, collaborative team.
In early 2026, “Bohn Consultancy” will become “Norentec.” A growing company with a dynamic team and systems designed for sustainable success.
With fresh expertise and a clear vision, we are moving in the same direction together:
- Our vision: To create a workplace where technology helps companies operate more efficiently, innovatively, and successfully.
- Our USP: We combine technical expertise with business acumen and work collaboratively to develop solutions that make a real difference in everyday life.
- Our approach: Delivering technically sound Atlassian solutions that drive business growth and engage everyone in the organization.
